Started by two sisters, Kathy Pickus and Terri Goodwin, our goal at Dot Girl Products is that every girl has a positive first period experience and an empowered first step to womanhood.  Our motivation to create The Dot Girl First Period Kit® grew from our own awkward teenage experiences.  Despite the fact that our mother was a wonderful nurturer to four daughters, she was never comfortable talking to us about our bodies.  Kathy vowed the first period experience would be different for her daughter, and thus was born the idea behind Dot Girl Products.

I loved this kit! It has allowed me to open the door with my daughter and talk about these kinds of things.  The kit is discreet and will fit perfect in a back pack or gym bag.  I like that it offers answers to a wide variety of questions, because sometimes I don't have the right answer.  The warming pad is a great thing to have.  I really wish they had stuff like this out when I was a kid, but I am glad I can use it with my daughters!
