What makes me feel lucky!

Everyone tells me I'm really lucky. And yeah it is kind of true- I win A LOT of things.  But I think it is about more than the stuff that I win.  I am convinced that I am just lucky in life. It is more than being a winner. My life is all about being a person with blessings abound.  And it's about how I share that with others. I am blessed to be able to blog and share my finds with others.  I feel lucky to be a mom to 3 beautiful girls and the wife of a loving husband.

I have been contesting since April 2009. It became a little hobby then it became something I did daily.  Everyone said I was so lucky because I always won everything.  For me I was living my life. I was able to get things I couldn't afford to buy, since I am a full time mom and college student. I was just filling in the gaps for things I couldn't afford to get for myself.  I didn't have to buy makeup for over a year and a half.  I got new boots when the winter came, for both my daughter and myself. All the things I could want or need I was able to get for free.

Then recently I have had less time for contests so I began to focus on specifics, like Starbucks gift cards.  I have been able to go to Starbucks at least 3 times a week since November, and have spent approximately $25 out of pocket in this time. All other goodies have been free! It has been a great way to feed my need for Starbucks while not going broke! My husband always jokes that I'm addicted, but I say at least its free!

Winning is fun and sure it seems like I'm lucky. So why am I lucky? Is it because I unlocked the jedi Twitter secret to winning? Is it because I score major swag with little effort? No. It is because I enjoy playing to win and love life. I try not to let the little things get me down, and when it gets hard I keep smiling.  I love winning because I am able to get the things I want and need for less or free. I am lucky to have a family who supports my hobby and loves me. I feel lucky to be able to have a blog audience who supports me and gives me a reason to keep blogging! And I feel lucky to be alive.  Life is great!
