background   LunchBox Reviews is the brainchild of Milanie Cleere. The site launched quietly on Friday, August 20th 2010. She is a wife, a mom and a business owner. She prefers natural, non-battery operated toys, but realized there are many educational apps for young children. Letting her kids play with an iPod Touch would not make her "that" mom or a bad parent. She started looking for quality applications and was overwhelmed with the number available. She tried a few that were fantastic and others that were complete duds. Sure, at 99 cents an app, you're not going to break the bank, but the cost of the truly awful apps started to add up.  She wanted a filter, a source for finding quality educational iPhone and iPad apps for young children. And where there's a need.... So Milanie created Lunchbox Reviews as the de facto resource for finding quality children's mobile apps. She describes herself as a Gen-X, tech-savvy mom who appreciates design and an intuitive UI. Milanie is someone without a lot of time and care what her children play with. She is picky. reviews The reviews you see on this site come from several places.  Milanie write reviews when time permits (owning a company and being a mom with two young kids can make that difficult!) and Lunchbox grabs reviews from reputable sources around the internet she can trust. calling all parents This site is a labor of love. This is a game where they can change virtually everything from eye to skin to hair color and so much more! Then you can snap a pic of your creation and change it again! This has been a great thing to have during long waits at doctor's offices or other lengthy waits! They even want to play it at her house! I am sending her to  LunchBox Reviews to learn about other great games for the kids! I love that LunchBox Reviews reviews all types of games, from ones that are educational to ones that are just for fun! This is a great and informative site!!
