Sand Gone Review & Giveaway!

I spent some of my summer in sunny California, and one of my favorite things to do was hit the beach!! Nothing beats spending the day in the sun, playing in the waves, and playing in the sand. Only bad part is getting the sand off of you at the end of the day!  It can be difficult to get rid of, until now!
I recently got to try Sand Gone! I was a bit of a skeptic at first, but was amazed at how well it worked! Simply dip the puff in the powder, brush the sand off and you're done! No sand left behind,and your skin feels great!  Sand Gone is a dry body powder that when applied to sandy parts of your body removes the sand leaving your skin soft and smooth.  A must for beach goers, it also works great on children after playing in the sand box. All natural ingredients smells like coconut, so you will smell great too!

I am very impressed with how well this product actually worked.  I will not go to the beach again without bringing along Sand Gone! Those showers they have at the beach just don't get the sand off,and this is the ONLY way I have found to effectively remove the sand, and it leaves you smelling great! Exposed Envy Decorative Designer Bra Straps Review & Giveaway

Looking good is always a priority, but sometimes looking good and having the proper support doesn't go together.  I have so many cute things to wear, but hate when my bra straps are showing. It doesn't look classy and so I either don't wear the outfit or go without the support of a bra.  Luckily there are solutions to these types of problems! They are quick and easy to change, and look so much nicer than a regular bra strap. I prefer the rhinestone bra straps, because they look more decorative and less like a bra strap. Barielle Nail Products Review & Giveaway!

There is no denying summer time has arrived!! No more hiding your feet-its time to polish those toes and show them off! Barielle offers great products to keep your nails looking their best!  I was lucky enough to get to work with Barielle on this review/giveaway!! They sent me Barielle Ultra Speed Dry Manicure Extender and the Barielle Nail Brightener and the Shades by Barielle in the color Swizzle Stix! I couldn't wait to try them out! 

 

The manicure extender worked really well at keeping my color longer! Since I do all the dishes and stuff at home my nail polish usually doesn't last past one day! This helped keep my nail color on about 3 days!  It was easy to use and dried pretty quick! I liked that it didn't make my nail polish too thick but gave a nice top coat.

I used the nail brightener on my toes since they hadn't seen the light of day for a while! They perked right up and looked much healthier after applying the brightener. This is great to get rid of the dull look any time of year, and I really liked it best for my toes when I don't have a color on them. Since I don't always polish my finger nails, I use it frequently on my finger nails to keep them natural looking and healthy!





The color Swizzle Stick isn't shown here, but it is a beautiful blue color:

 




The nail polish wasn't as thick as other polishes I have used, so I had to do a few coats to get the desired color and appearance. I really liked the nice bright shade for summer! My youngest daughter also loves blue, so she was excited to get her nails done with something besides pink for a change!  Barielle offers so many great colors, so be sure to check them out next time you are wanting a new shade!

Tropical Traditions Skin Exfoliator Review & Giveaway

I absolutely love Tropical Traditions! I have featured this company many times on my blog, and love their coconut oil based products! I am doing another review with them, and this time I am trying the Unscented Skin Exfoliator! This exfoliator is really great! It is a mix of sea salt, organic Virgin coconut oil, organic jojoba and organic Virgin palm oil.  I have tried lots of exfoliators but I think this is my favorite!

The first time I used this exfoliator I immediately noticed a difference! The sea salt gets rid of the dead skin cells, and the oils help to moisturize.  It left me feeling a bit greasy for a little bit, but once my skin absorbed the oils my skin felt very soft. It works really great on all parts of the body, I especially like it for the feet! And since it's unscented even a guy could use it without feeling girly.  There are no alcohols, artificial fragrances or petroleum in the exfoliator.  This is something every one should definitely try to help with dry skin! Exfoliating is a really important part of your routine, and this stuff works great! 

The founders of Tropical Traditions are Brian and Marianita Shilhavy.  In 1998 Brian  and Marianita returned to the Philippines with their three children and renovated Marianita's old family farmhouse. By this time the coconut industry was severely depressed due to the negative U.S. campaigns against tropical oils in the 1980s and 1990s. Coconut farmers could no longer support their families on the income generated from harvesting coconuts. This couple tried a method the older generation used to extract the oil by grating the fresh coconut, extracting the coconut milk, and then letting the coconut milk stand in a covered container for about 24 hours. After about 24 hours, the oil naturally separates from the water producing a crystal clear oil that retains the full scent and taste of coconuts.  This proved successful, and they began using this for their own families.  They still use traditional methods for their products today!

This fun book was an instant hit with my girls! That gives you plenty of quality reading time without being TOO lengthy!  I love how it also gives little lessons, like considering right and wrong and acting accordingly!

Powercapes Review & Giveaway!

In this day and age, there are lots of images on TV and in the media that leave our kids feeling inadequate.  I think this is very sad, and that we should take every opportunity to show our kids how super they are!! Since my kids were very little I have had little nicknames for them that show how great I think they are! My oldest is the Amazing Shae-Shae, my middle is Super Summer and my youngest is Serenity the Great.  I believe that by telling them they are wonderful, it will boost their self esteem. If I believe they are great they will too.

Dapper Snapper Review & Giveaway!

I have 3 little girls who are pretty slim in the waist.  This wouldn't be much of a problem except they are also pretty long legged.  So I have the problem of the pants I find in stores being great in the waist but too long, or great length and too big in the waist.  This is especially true of my oldest and youngest daughters.  My oldest is super skinny so nothing fits her waist, and my youngest always seems to have saggy pants.  So what is a mom to do?

I love Dapper Snappers for a problem like this one!! Dapper Snappers are a kids belt that only uses the back 3 belt loops of their pants. Elastic and snaps make this product fully adjustable and you won't need to remove it or unsnap it for diaper changes or potty training. This belt is great for kids 9 months-6 years old. 

This is a great alternative to kids belts.  Belts are hard to undo, and for anyone who has a kid, this is bad!! When its time to go potty, who wants to spend time trying to undo a belt? This usually results in an accident! By using the Dapper Snapper, you avoid tricky toddler belts and can get pants on and off with ease! Even your child can get their pants up and down without help!  

I got a pink Dapper Snapper. I use it for my youngest daughter.  Usually when we are running around and playing she struggles to keep her pants up! With the Dapper Snapper she has had no problems of her pants falling or sagging!  This makes both of us very happy! I am really glad I found a permanent situation to a "growing" problem!
