Sand Gone Review & Giveaway!

I spent some of my summer in sunny California, and one of my favorite things to do was hit the beach!! Nothing beats spending the day in the sun, playing in the waves, and playing in the sand. Only bad part is getting the sand off of you at the end of the day!  It can be difficult to get rid of, until now!
I recently got to try Sand Gone! I was a bit of a skeptic at first, but was amazed at how well it worked! Simply dip the puff in the powder, brush the sand off and you're done! No sand left behind,and your skin feels great!  Sand Gone is a dry body powder that when applied to sandy parts of your body removes the sand leaving your skin soft and smooth.  A must for beach goers, it also works great on children after playing in the sand box. All natural ingredients smells like coconut, so you will smell great too!

I am very impressed with how well this product actually worked.  I will not go to the beach again without bringing along Sand Gone! Those showers they have at the beach just don't get the sand off,and this is the ONLY way I have found to effectively remove the sand, and it leaves you smelling great! Barielle Nail Products Review & Giveaway!

There is no denying summer time has arrived!! No more hiding your feet-its time to polish those toes and show them off! Barielle offers great products to keep your nails looking their best!  I was lucky enough to get to work with Barielle on this review/giveaway!! They sent me Barielle Ultra Speed Dry Manicure Extender and the Barielle Nail Brightener and the Shades by Barielle in the color Swizzle Stix! I couldn't wait to try them out! 

 

The manicure extender worked really well at keeping my color longer! Since I do all the dishes and stuff at home my nail polish usually doesn't last past one day! This helped keep my nail color on about 3 days!  It was easy to use and dried pretty quick! I liked that it didn't make my nail polish too thick but gave a nice top coat.

I used the nail brightener on my toes since they hadn't seen the light of day for a while! They perked right up and looked much healthier after applying the brightener. This is great to get rid of the dull look any time of year, and I really liked it best for my toes when I don't have a color on them. Since I don't always polish my finger nails, I use it frequently on my finger nails to keep them natural looking and healthy!

The nail polish wasn't as thick as other polishes I have used, so I had to do a few coats to get the desired color and appearance. I really liked the nice bright shade for summer! Cellulite affects 90 percent of women and 10 percent of men, mostly in industrial nations. As women start approaching menopause, estrogen starts decreasing. From 25 to 35 is when we start seeing the appearance of cellulite. Estrogen has an impact on the blood vessels. Kaponga Cream Perfume Review & Giveaway! (2 Winners!!)

I love perfumes.  Certain ones, of course, but I love perfumes none the less! It is so nice to have a sweet scent on to make you feel that much better about yourself!! I love to check out new kinds of perfumes to see what types of scents I like and which scents are the best.  I have come across Kaponga, The Cream Perfume Company.  They have a variety of scents in a cute little jar that you rub on instead of spraying it on. This is the first of it's kind that I have come across, so I was very excited to get to try it out!!

I got to try the Mimosa Boquet:

A fresh blend of orange blossom and green notes open this very popular floral. Heart notes of mimosa, gardenia, carnation and rose of turkey follow, culminating in a fusion of vanilla madagaskar and musk.

I really liked this scent!  It was a good combination of the floral and musk scents, and wasn't too strong or too light! I also really liked the easy to use rub on form as opposed to a spray.  This was a great scent for me!  I love that it was a floral scent and had a unique scent.

I also got to try the Ylang Ylang d'amore:

Enjoy exhilirating scents of ylang ylang, mandarin and jasmine in this classic perfume. Trailed by notes of apricot, cedarwood, orange flower, patchouli and musk.

This one was my favorite of the two!! The combination of the fruits and cedarwood....yummy!! I loved it so much and wear it several times a week! (A girl has to mix it up a bit!)  I also really loved the cute container these perfumes come in!! So wonderful!!

I also got to try some of the Lavender Body Moisturizer:

I got it right before I took a family vacation, and somehow it ended up being the only lotion I brought! I was glad to have it though! My skin was super dry and so I tried it on the first thing when I got to the hotel! It was super yummy smelling, and made my skin feel so amazing!! It kept it moisturized too, which is important to me. This is a great post-bath or shower lotion, and even better for before bed. It will help you relax and sleep well.  I love lavender lotions!!

Revlon Beauty Products Review & Giveaway!!

When it comes to beauty, for me, frugality is a must.  Why would I spend tons of money on nails when I don't really want to wear them ALL the time and I could do them at home cheaper??  Makes no sense to me. I mean, of course, I have gone to the salon and paid big bucks to get nice fake nails put on, and they are great but they have to be maintained and that gets expensive. For a frugal gal like myself, there are much better ways to spend my money (like shoes hehe!)  So I turn to companies like Revlon for my beauty-at-home needs!  They offer great false eye lashes and artificial nails, among other products!

 

REVLON® Fantasy Lengths® Maximum Wear self adhesive eyelashes are a revolutionary way to go from Plain Jane to Naturally Fantastic instantly. Without messy glue to fumble with- you can have perfect lashes that stay where you want them to- even in water.  And they are available in four different styles. I was able to try several different types of lashes, both self adhesive and ones requiring glue. I prefer the self adhesive for a beginner like me, as it is less complicated!!

I am not a big time user of false eyelashes, but I was willing to try this out. Luckily Revlon has great tips and even a video to help people like me with little to no experience with false eye lashes!  The tips and video make it a breeze to put on false eyelashes! Revlon has a great video featuring Gucci Westman, the Global Artistic Director for Revlon.  In this video, Gucci shows step-by-step how to apply false eyelashes and even gives a few tips on how to make them look even more real than they already do!  There are two separate videos, one for the glue-on lashes and the other for the self-adhesive lashes.  Just click on this link, www.Revlonlashvideos.com and it will take you straight to the videos! 

Now nails I have no problem putting on. I got to try out the beautiful red Color Allure Glue On Nails!   These were much easier and more my cup of tea.  I have become a pro at gluing my own nails, so I can avoid the extra glue on my fingers, and on the fake nails themselves! It takes a bit of practice, but I think if you do them right, they look just as nice as salon nails. Now of course, they don't last as long as salon nails. I recommend taking the bottle of glue and sticking it in your purse. Especially if you are like me and use nails for special occasions. I wore my nails to a Brad Paisley concert and one of them came off during the night, and I was bummed I didn't bring the nail glue. Now I know better!!

Secret Deodorant Giftpack Review & Giveaway (5 winners!)

Why is it I sweat more than ever since I have had kids? Why does being pregnant change your body so much that even after the pregnancy is way over (my baby is almost 2) I still feel like I sweat more than normal? How do I keep from being stinky? This baby can outlast any activity and keep you protected all day long! The scent is light and fresh! I loved this deodorant and next time, I think I will listen to the dr. when she says I don't need a prescription deodorant!

The Flawless Deodorant was my favorite of the two. It is triggered by body heat, so when you are getting hot and sweaty, that is when it is working the hardest for you!  This deodorant really left me feeling clean and fresh, with no worries of getting sweat stains on my shirt, or stinking after playing hard with the kids! The scent is light and feminine, so it isn't a strong deodorant type smell that makes it seem like you caked the stuff on!
