No Throws Review & Giveaway!

Every mom knows all too well the game babies love to play: I throw, you catch!  Its cute at first, but can get old pretty quick!! Especially if you are at the store or out in the stroller, and the baby wants to throw the same thing over and over! Even worse, when they throw something and you don't realize until it's long gone.  No Throw can help save you from this problem!! They attach to the stroller or chair and to your baby's bottle, sippy cup or toy!  This is something I am glad to have now, but really wish I had when I first started this journey called motherhood!

I can take my 2 year old out in the stroller and not have to stop all the time to help her get her sippy cup or toy back.  It works really well in the carseat or high chair as well.  The child can pull the strap up to get the object back without any help!

Sears to the Rescue!! Sears Hometown Review & Giveaway!!!

Laundry day is never an easy task. We have 5 people in this house plus a dog, plus all my friend's kids and nieces that are constantly here, playing and getting messy! I love it all but it doesn't make my job any easier. We are an active family, and love to play outdoors! We love to go to the park, hit the mountains to hike, and we really love to camp!  This really puts my washer and dryer to work! Luckily I have Sears Appliance to help me get the job done!! The Sears hometown store has a great staff who are there to answer any questions you have! They will help you get the appliances you need!

Camping is so much fun because you get away from the t.v.and the electronics and you get to spend quality time as a family! We love the days in the mountains, no matter how messy they are!  We get dirty playing in the forest, building a fire, and cooking marshmallows!  The sticky messes end up all over the place-their faces, hair and of course their clothes! When we return home, I have to wash everyone's clothes and hope they come out! Luckily my washer and dryer can handle the job and the clothes come out nice and clean. You can't even tell that the day before they were covered in dirt!!

I love going to Sears to check out the latest appliances.  Their staff is knowledgeable and friendly.  And if an employee doesn't know the answer, they will find someone who does! This makes the shopping experience pleasant!  I love being able to compare the different dryers to see what the best deal is for the money! The staff asks questions about my needs, then helps to find the appliance that will fit my budget and my life! I know the Sears appliances are ones I can depend on to always get the job done right! 

No matter what type of sport or outdoor activity you enjoy, you can rely on your Sears appliances to help keep your families clothes clean and neat.  Let the kids get as dirty as they want! That is part of being a kid-being able to play without having to worry about your clothes!  And you can relax knowing that the stains will come out!  You have Sears on your side, so get messy and have fun!

Eyebuy Direct.com Review & Giveaway!!

EyeBuyDirect.com recently offered the opportunity to review a pair of prescription glasses for my blog!! I was excited to get to try some new glasses! I was really eager to see their selection and check out the site, and started shopping right away! I liked several different pairs before choosing the Alessandria frames:

I do wear them around the house and to give my eyes a break from contacts.  Eyebuydirect.com has a virtual try on program, where they say you can try before you buy.  I tried this and didn't get the results I wanted. I tried with a webcam, I tried it with a pre taken picture, and neither way worked.  The glasses were way too in ratio to my face, and when I used a closer face shot, the glasses got bigger.  It didn't work.  So I tried to find one of their models with a face shape most similar to mine.  I liked them on her!  The funny thing is, I tried again and got it to work, but AFTER the glasses arrive!! And on top of that, they look cuter on the website than they did on me!! Maybe I just need to get used to them more!

I'm not sure why I had troubles the first few times I used the Try Before You Buy, but now that I have I think it is great! I love being able to try different frames, and you can even save the images and compare different frames easily!! This makes it easier to shop online and get something you like!!

I love a shirt with a funny catch phrase! 1. Take a multi vitamin! I have found my daughter's get less cold when I have them taking a children's vitamin than when they don't use them.  There are many different forms of vitamins available, like regular pills, chewables, gummy or even a powder supplemetnt.


2. Get a balanced diet.  Eating a healthy diet and including fruits and veggies are key to good health.  By eating right, you are giving your body the nutrients it needs to fight off illness and keep your immune system up and running!


3.  Stay active! This will help you stay healthy not just now but in the long run.  Leading an active lifestyle results in fewer serious health issues, especially as you get older!


4.  Clean!!!!  Be concious of things like germy counters, door handles, etc.  Wash down counters daily with a disenfecting spray or wipe to keep germs off food.  Wipe down door handles, light switches and other things that are in constant contact with hands to prevent spreading germs.


5. And speaking of hands!! Make sure you and your family are avid hand washers! This is one of the best ways to prevent spreading germs.  But it isn't always enough, you should use a hand sanitizer as well that is alcohol based to truly get rid of all those icky germs.


6.  Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze. And do it with your elbow, not your hand.  This keeps you

CP Docks Review & Giveaway!!

Cell phones are such a necessity now a days! I can't put mine down for very long! Which means it has to be charged usually during the day and I charge it over night. But the cords are so long they get in the way, and sometimes they get tangled with other cords. What a mess. I need a better solution to keep things looking neat!!

CP Docks are the best solution, and they make great stocking stuffers!!  You simply wrap the cord around the holder, plug in the phone and then plug the phone into the wall adapter and  plug the adapter into the wall.
