Purex With Zout Review & Giveaway!

Between my 3 kids, husband and dog, laundry is a never ending battle.  I swear my kids go through more clothes in a day than some kids do in a week!!  My middle child is the worst-if she gets  anything on her clothes she wants to change IMMEDIATELY.  That isn't always easy on my wallet! I was totally excited to be able to try this new product! This scent was very nice, not too strong but it made the laundry smell great! I did all the laundry saving the sheets for last.  I cannot describe how nice and fresh the bed was when I finally crawled in it that night!

Sears to the Rescue!! Sears Hometown Review & Giveaway!!!

Laundry day is never an easy task. We have 5 people in this house plus a dog, plus all my friend's kids and nieces that are constantly here, playing and getting messy! I love it all but it doesn't make my job any easier. We are an active family, and love to play outdoors! We love to go to the park, hit the mountains to hike, and we really love to camp!  This really puts my washer and dryer to work! Luckily I have Sears Appliance to help me get the job done!! The Sears hometown store has a great staff who are there to answer any questions you have! They will help you get the appliances you need!

Camping is so much fun because you get away from the t.v.and the electronics and you get to spend quality time as a family! We love the days in the mountains, no matter how messy they are!  We get dirty playing in the forest, building a fire, and cooking marshmallows!  The sticky messes end up all over the place-their faces, hair and of course their clothes! When we return home, I have to wash everyone's clothes and hope they come out! Luckily my washer and dryer can handle the job and the clothes come out nice and clean. You can't even tell that the day before they were covered in dirt!!

I love going to Sears to check out the latest appliances.  Their staff is knowledgeable and friendly.  And if an employee doesn't know the answer, they will find someone who does! This makes the shopping experience pleasant!  I love being able to compare the different dryers to see what the best deal is for the money! The staff asks questions about my needs, then helps to find the appliance that will fit my budget and my life! I know the Sears appliances are ones I can depend on to always get the job done right! 

No matter what type of sport or outdoor activity you enjoy, you can rely on your Sears appliances to help keep your families clothes clean and neat.  Let the kids get as dirty as they want! That is part of being a kid-being able to play without having to worry about your clothes!  And you can relax knowing that the stains will come out!  You have Sears on your side, so get messy and have fun!

Tropical Traditions Powdered Laundry Detergent Review & Giveaway!

Since starting my blogging endeavors, one company I have fallen in love with is Tropical Traditions, and especially their line of Household Traditions Products!  They offer a variety of great products for you, your family and your home!! Everything from virgin coconut oil, which is great for cooking with, to household goods of all types! 


The founders of Tropical Traditions are Brian and Marianita Shilhavy.  In 1998 Brian  and Marianita returned to the Philippines with their three children and renovated Marianita's old family farmhouse. By this time the coconut industry was severely depressed due to the negative U.S. campaigns against tropical oils in the 1980s and 1990s. Coconut farmers could no longer support their families on the income generated from harvesting coconuts. This time around, I got to try the Powdered Laundry Detergent!  This smelled great and really got the stains out of some clothes that I didn't know if I could get out!! I am usually not a fan of powder detergent but this made me change my mind!  The powder dissolved completely and made the clothes smell great and come out clean! Who could ask for more??
