Barielle Nail Products Review & Giveaway!

There is no denying summer time has arrived!! No more hiding your feet-its time to polish those toes and show them off! Barielle offers great products to keep your nails looking their best!  I was lucky enough to get to work with Barielle on this review/giveaway!! They sent me Barielle Ultra Speed Dry Manicure Extender and the Barielle Nail Brightener and the Shades by Barielle in the color Swizzle Stix! I couldn't wait to try them out!

The manicure extender worked really well at keeping my color longer! Since I do all the dishes and stuff at home my nail polish usually doesn't last past one day! This helped keep my nail color on about 3 days!  It was easy to use and dried pretty quick! I liked that it didn't make my nail polish too thick but gave a nice top coat.

I used the nail brightener on my toes since they hadn't seen the light of day for a while! They perked right up and looked much healthier after applying the brightener. This is great to get rid of the dull look any time of year, and I really liked it best for my toes when I don't have a color on them. Since I don't always polish my finger nails, I use it frequently on my finger nails to keep them natural looking and healthy!

The color Swizzle Stick isn't shown here, but it is a beautiful blue color:

The nail polish wasn't as thick as other polishes I have used, so I had to do a few coats to get the desired color and appearance. I really liked the nice bright shade for summer! My youngest daughter also loves blue, so she was excited to get her nails done with something besides pink for a change!  Barielle offers so many great colors, so be sure to check them out next time you are wanting a new shade!

Eco Mom Piggy Paint Review

Ecomom.com is a great site for anything a mom will need-and all eco friendly! Food, beauty products, baby gear and more-they have it! I love this site and I was super excited to find out they carry my fave kids product-Piggy Paint! Now I can get my favorite kids nail polish where I get all sorts of other great goodies!  My three little girls divas LOVE doing their nails, so I use polishes that I know are safe for them. Piggy Paint is the best kids polish I have found! This polish is water based, is non flammable and has no nasty chemicals! It is free of formaldehyde, toluene, phthalates, biphenyl A, ethyl acetate and acetone... and made in the USA!
Love Bug Hug Set
I really love all their colors! I got to try out the Love Bug Hug Set, a Valentine's exclusive! This is a combo of the Sometimes Sweet, Forever Fancy, and Angel Kisses nail polishes all wrapped in a cute little gift bag! This is a great deal and the colors are so cute! I even used them on myself when I did the kids nails! I have tried Piggy Paints before, but really liked the colors in this set! The Forever Fancy was my favorite! I liked having all three colors cause we did little designs on the pink polish with the red, like stripes and dots.  I also did alternating colors for the baby.
EcoMom.com offers so many great products.  Any new mom, or anyone shopping for a new mom could get all the supplies in one place! I was surprised to learn they even have strollers, health remedies, and even dress up stuff! And like I mentioned before, everything is eco friendly!!  This great site is dedicated to offering the best eco safe products for everyone!  From birth and beyond, this site will help you stay eco friendly! Check out all the goods at ecomom.com!

I was not compensated for this review. I was sent the above mentioned product in exchange for a review on my blog. All opinions are honest and 100% my own! Photos from Ecomom.com

Piggy Paint Review!

I just love the look of a little girl with her nail all cute and painted up! I wanted to do it when my girls were babies, but was always worried about the constant hands and fingers in the mouth.  How can I know what is in the nail polish? Are my kid's nail polishes safe?  Well the experts at Piggy Paint answered all my questions! They have created a nail polish that is safe and looks beautiful at the same time! The secret? The polishes are water based, so they don't have the nasty chemicals of regular and even some "kids" nail polishes.

Founder Melanie Hurley discovered one day that the kids polish she was using wasn't as safe as she thought when a drop landed on the foam plate she was using and bubbled up, eventually creating a hole in the plate! If that happened to the plate, then what would go into the body of a little girl sucking on her finger? So Melanie ditched the solvent-based polishes and went on a mission to create Piggy Paint!!

You can see in this picture from the Piggy Paint website that the Piggy Paint is clearly the better choice for your little girls nails!  I was totally shocked when I saw this and decided to test out my own kids polishes to see if they were bad as well! Having 3 young girls, and especially since they always seem to have hands near the mouth, I was so relieved to be able to use Piggy Paint on their nails! It is hard to say no to getting glammed up, but I know Piggy Paint is safe enough to use even on a real little one!

We got to try the super pretty Girls Rule polish and the Nail polish remover!
I was impressed that the polish remover actually removed the polish without all the stinky harsh chemicals!  One complaint my husband has about doing nails is the smell! This remover is acetone free and works wonderfully! Piggy Paint has many wonderful and beautiful colors to choose from, so click here to see more and get some pretty paints for your little ones piggies!

Piggy Paint has a special offer to purchase your own Piggy Paint for 10% off!! Use the code:
