An important part of biking is bike safety. If you teach your child early on the importance of wearing their helmet, its likely they will continue to wear it as they grow older. We got the toddler size, and if you have a child over 2 1/2 I would say get the child sized, cause the toddler will likely be too small. Depends on the size of your child's head ☺ The helmet was a big hit with my little one, and she wore it even when she wasn't riding her bike!
