Happy Earth Day-Green Smart Review & Giveaway!

In an effort to do my part for the earth, I have been trying to go with more eco-friendly choices when I buy anything.  One great place to find all sorts of great Earth Friendly Choices is greensmart.biz!  They have really cool lunch bags, laptop sleeves, backpacks and more! Best of all,their products are actually made from recycled plastic bottles! How cool is that!?!? Plastic bottles are a huge problem affecting our planet, as the average person throws out over 200 bottles a year! That is a really big number when you think about it, so I am all for a company that finds a way to make cute stuff out of someone else's (recyclable) trash!

So I was really excited when GreenSmart® offered me a review of the Javan Lunch Tote!!  This is a super cute lunch tote that is 100% earth friendly! ☺ I really love the colors, they are really pretty and very stylish! This is great for lunch at work, taking with you on your day out or for a day trip! This also is great for concerts, because it is stylish enough to carry around your stuff and still have food at the same time! I love going out to big shows and spending the day at festivals.  Having a bag to keep your food fresh that looks great is a win!

An elastic sleeve inside holds a bottle in place and pockets on the outside for utensils, napkins or mobile phone or keys make this sophisticated look with a full zip around makes this a well featured style. The padded handles make carrying really comfortable, too. Skoy Cloth Review & Giveaway!

In a household full of kids, a dog and my husband, there are usually many reasons I need a towel or a paper towel. And after a while it can really start to pile up! Either you have to wash towels daily, or you are wasting a TON of paper towels. Between normal cleaning and cleaning up after everyone, it gets to be a bit much. I am on a eco-friendly kick lately and have been searching for ways to lessen our impact on the earth.  In my quest for earth friendliness I have come across Skoy and their amazing Skoy Cloths! 

The Skoy cloth is an absorbent, biodegradable cloth that you can use for all kinds of household tasks!  Use it in every room of the house for all sorts of cleaning jobs!  I love it to pick up spills quickly and for washing dishes! I was really impressed at how well they held up to scrubbing pots and pans! And best of all, they are totally reusable! They replace sponges, paper towels, and significantly reduces your use of kitchen towels! This has gotten me down to washing kitchen towels once a week!!!

 

Skoy cloths are made of natural cotton and wood-based cellulose pulp and is European made. Using a SKOY cloth is equivalent to using 15 rolls of paper towels in an average home. With the high cost of paper towels, as much as $2 per roll, SKOY cloth is the obvious choice for your wallet and the environment. The SKOY cloth has an absorption factor of 15x its own weight.  This cloth is definitely worth the money!!  A 4 pack is only $6.99!!  Best of all, since it dries quickly, you have far less bacteria on your cloth.  Another way to keep it bacteria free is to microwave it for 1-2 minutes, making sure you have it damp before putting it in.  (It is very important that the cloth is wet to avoid a fire)  You can wash your Skoy Cloth in the washer or your dishwasher!!  These cloths are so wonderful!!!

I have been trying the Green Movement lately like a lot of other people! Something that has been important to me has been having products that are healthy for my family and the environment for cleaning and maintaining my house. I found a great place to buy these kinds of products: Eco Store!
